Saturday, June 27 Pride Festival is new "Ballroom Social" cosponsored by Rainbow Love with contests in Salsa & Country! Sunday, June 28 Pride Day returns with "Swing Block" with contest in Any Swing Goes (Jive, West, East Coast, Lindy, Shag or Bal) *Win $100 in contests in Salsa, Country & all Swing! Volunteer San Francisco's premiere non profit dance studio the Queer Ballroom brings you the "Ballrooom Variety block" and the "Queer Jitterbugs dance block" with street swing dancing bringing you back to 1920-1950's San Francisco! Incudes free, fun & easy lessons! Don't miss the bands, burlesque performances, and fun contests at the Northern California Open Same Sex Dance Championship Win $100* in contests all weekend long in: Salsa-Saturday, June 27 @ 2pm Country 2 Step-Saturday, June 27@ 3pm Any Swing Goes-Pride Day Sunday, June 28 @ 3pm (Jive, West Coast, East Coast, Lindy, Shag or Bal) $100 cash prize only given if minimum of 10 people in contest paying $10 each for award to be $100; Prize may be as low as $10. (you may waive the contest fee and do it for free but you will not be eligable for the $100 first prize).
